Henry takes a look at philanthropic practices within a sampling of English-speaking Caribbean islands, including Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia and St. Vincent. While each nation has its own distinctive cultural, social, economic and educational practices, Henry's research indicates that there are also common historical threads that tie them all together. In order to facilitate this study, learning tours of the select islands were conducted with the goal of discovering the history of giving traditions, existing practices and potential initiatives for the future geared toward advancing philanthropic development and strategies.
