  • Description

In 1968, the W. K. Kellogg Foundation helped initiate an eight pronged attack on a national educational problem relating to the preparation of allied health instructional personnel. The unique features of each of the eight projects, funded by Foundation grants totaling $3,766,363, are described in the following chapters. This book also relates both a process by which national issues may be successfully addressed by major universities provided with private developmental funds and the lessons learned that can now be adapted by other institutions with the potential for making additional contributions to the allied health field.
