2014-2015 Annual Report

For the first time in eight-teen years, the Chester County Fund for Women and Girls is unveiling a new strategy to increase awareness and the understanding of issues women, girls, and their families face in our county. In 2015 the Fund completed a comprehensive strategic plan process that incorporated the input of stakeholders within the community to develop a vision, mission, and strategic direction for the future. The result of the process is a plan that reflects the potential and commitment of the Fund to make our community better for women and girls.

2013-14 Annual Report

In a year of transition, the Fund stayed true to its mission. While incorporating fresh perspectives into an already solid foundation we had a year that was very positive. The Compass Fund was established to provide financial resources to expand and grow the bold, purposeful work of the Fund for Women and Girls and to explore fresh, innovative approaches to the challenges faced by women and children in our community. Moreover, the Fund celebrated the major milestone of granting over $2 million since its inception.

Annual Report 2011-12

$1.6 million in grants awarded to 52 agencies addressing critical issues affecting women and girls, including homelessness, domestic violence, and women's health among others.

2010 Blueprint Report

September 23, 2010

The Blueprint Report is the first and only comprehensive needs assessment of women and girls in Chester County. Based on data collected, it underscores the long-term effects of the economic recession on the health, safety, and financial security of women and girls. The Blueprint Report brings the issues and trends to the foreground and informs our conversations and planning.
